Health & Safety Environmental

The management of Tetra Emirates holds in high regard the safety, welfare and health of its employees. We firmly believe that every employee is entitled to work under the safest possible conditions. All possible efforts will be made in the interest of accident prevention in all our work sites, workshops and projects.We do realize that it is a good business practice to guard against accidents and occupational hazards. Preventing accidents will reduce the associated costs and increase the morale of the employees, which is a tangible benefit to the organization.

It is our belief that all accidents, which injure people,damage machinery and destroy materials, can be prevented by taking specific safety precautions.

All employees in Tetra Emirates are expected to perform their duties without compromising the safety guidelines issued from time to time. Cost Control System

Steps taken by Tetra Emirates management to assure that the cost objective is attained and to assure that all segments of the organization are consistent with its policies. For effective cost control, most systems, in which the actual costs are compared against the strategy evaluation and the deviations, are investigated for remedial measures, which may result in change of any or all of the method, or both. It facilitates the management of the projects, to ensure that construction costs are kept under control.

Finance

Tetra Emirates has sufficient capital to finance our projects and Tetra has strong cash flow based on the working capital. Moreover we have strong relationship with strong banks and facilities to facilitate all our projects. Tetra Emirates is very strong in the assets management.

Surveying Works

Tetra Emirates has independent surveying group for all the projects and surveying instrumentations, computing techniques and professional staff using high standards of technical tools for surveying works. Tetra Emirates always follow all the procedures for each project specialized for investigating the utility services and Site plan. We are developing day by day our team by teaching and updating all the latest knowledge and information required. The surveying work responsible as follows:

  • Studying the site plan by visiting the site.
  • Collect all the data from authorized departmentsFor the utilities existing.
  • Shop drawing as per the site conditions includes all the services to construction department protection and asset of the country.
  • Updating all information received from the Consultant and client to be the accurate details.
  • As built shop drawings at the end of the projects and Tetra Emirates recently has employed special group for the Geographic Information System (GIS), so if required to be submitted As-built drawings in the (GIS). So, we are always looking for developments of surveying department as market required.

    Plant/ Workshop Management

    Tetra Emirates has his own machineries and equipments sufficient to achieve the projects. Tetra Emirates prefer to heir only those items of plant which are required to meet the peak demand or specialized duties. Tetra Emirates has software”s of ERP (Enterprise Resource Program) for controlling the assets management and maintenance.

    Plant Maintenance

    Tetra Emirates owns plants and prepared to provide maintenance and services for the equipments. Tetra Emirates has workshop with full facilities and experienced staff.

    Plant Preventive Maintenance

    Tetra Emirates system implementation to the plant tabular procedures and aimed at reducing wear, maintaining the plant in good working maintenance and preventing unforeseen stoppages. The maintenance actions are based on the following points:

    1. Daily servicing and superficial inspection performed roughly half an hour before and after working hours.
    2. Regular full maintenance and inspection, including periodic overhaul.
    3. Condition- based monitoring using the techniques of used-oil analysis to determine the levels of wear on parts and components, particularly the engine, transmission and gearing units.
    4. Replacement or repair of component parts within a working period base on the expected duties and conditions.
    Monitoring of Maintenance Tetra Emirates maintenance policy to execute efficiently, it is necessary to install a recording and costing system, which shall include: 1. An asset register comprising an inventory of each plant item in the fleet, with information on the date of purchase,Registration or code number, purchase price, current value, location, hours operated etc.
    2. A maintenance schedule indicating the type of maintenance and servicing required on each plant item together with the time intervals between plant maintenance operations.
    3. Job cards to be filled out by the fitter each time maintenance work is performed, and which should include a description of the work done, materials used, time taken, recurring defects etc.
    4. History record cards. The information on the job card is transferred for each individual machine to its history card, normally a computer file, together with the hours operated and fuel used. The monthly records are then abstracted to prepare costs for comparison with budgeted values. The variances are subsequently used in controlling maintenance, adjusting the hire rate and ultimately in making a decision with respect to replacement or sale of the item in plant.

    Quantity Surveying, Estimation & Tendering Management

    Tetra Emirates Quantity Surveying is broadly concerned with the estimation, planning and control of the cost. It covers a wide range of activities including cost estimation, cost planning, value engineering, cost benefit analysis, lifecycle costing and valuation. Efficient and effective utilization of resources (materials,manpower, machineries) is the main objective of the department. The Quantity Surveying Department roles include assess the risk involved, and are able to decide whether it should be retained or transferred; contract procurement; tender evaluation; preparation of Bill of Quantities; pricing; estimation; valuation and managing payment applications including variations.
